In addition to issuing subpoenas to sitting House Republicans, including Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy – and even arresting one of Trump’s allies – the January 6 committee is holding a series of PUBLIC hearings so Americans can see for themselves the results after months of investigation into what happened on January 6, 2021. Today’s hearings are focused on Trump pressuring Mike Pence to overturn the results of the election.
