I remember that day in New York City on September 11, 2001. I didn’t think, I didn’t weigh the pros and cons.

I saw the aftermath of those horrible terrorist attacks and I knew I needed to go down and volunteer in the search and rescue efforts. And it’s from that day I knew I wanted to be a paramedic.

After a long career working as a paramedic, I thought that would be the extent of my public service. Then Joe Biden happened.

Once again, I knew something had to be done. Just like when I saw a great evil descend on New York, this threat to our country comes from the inside. That’s why I am running for Congress. No weighing pros and cons.
