About the job
As a Customer Service Specialist 2, you will serve as a centralized point of contact for communications needed for Buildings & Grounds. As part of the Work Management Center, you will receive and process communications, deploy trades members to respond to and resolve issues and provide maintenance and repair services for DES owned property within Thurston County. You will serve as liaison between the Buildings & Grounds employees and their clients, customers, stakeholders, and visitors to DES facilities.
We are seeking a teammate that is experienced in providing direct customer assistance in a complex, fast-paced environment. This role requires you to be comfortable working in a high-volume call center and the ability to work in a highly charged, and sometimes noisy and hectic environment. The ability to prioritize and adapt to changing work assignments is a must! You must also be able to listen attentively, identify issues, provide options, and otherwise assist others in resolving problems, or emergent situations. Communication skills are vital.
