John

I’ve been around guns for as long as I can remember. Here in Texas, it’s our way of life. I was taught to respect firearms, handle them carefully, and to use them as a tool in everyday life.

I know a lot of you had similar experiences growing up.

Our fundamental right to keep and bear arms is deeply important to me - and, unfortunately, this right has come under attack. Democrats in Congress, who admittedly know little to nothing about firearms, are trying to enact red flag laws, ban “assault” rifles, limit magazines to 15 rounds, and further strip away our 2nd Amendment rights.

It’s an assault on our Constitution and millions of law-abiding citizens across Texas and the United States.

As long as I’m your Congressman, I will NEVER vote for a piece of legislation that limits YOUR freedom to keep and bear arms. And while emotions run hot around this debate, we must remember that our Constitution explicitly states that this right SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

While Democrats hold unified control of Washington, they will keep up their assault on the 2nd Amendment. That’s why it’s so important that Republicans win big this November! Will you donate now to help Republicans take back the House and protect our 2nd Amendment? [[link removed]]
