Ten years ago, DREAMers -- undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children -- found a new sense of hope and security under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Karla Mendoza: "With DACA I was able to go back to school, get a job officially. DACA changed my life."

Alex Vasquez: "DACA in a lot of ways laid out the financial work that I needed to get an education. Now because of that, I’ve been able to get a four-year degree and be able to work here legally."



However, DACA is only a temporary solution. Today, many DREAMers face the possibility of losing their protection due to pending legal challenges to the program.
