It has been an incredibly taxing yet rewarding year for us at MLFA, and we wanted to take this opportunity to give you a big shout-out to thank you for your support through it all!
We’re proud of many achievements over the last 12 months, but we are especially grateful for a positive ending to a case that unfolded after the tragic events of 9/11: the unjust conviction and sentencing of 25-year old Hamid Hayat in 2006.
This year, after spending 14 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit,he is free, thanks to your generous support and belief in the cause of justice!
