Team, 10 years ago, we won DACA through the powerful organizing and constant action of immigrant youth across the country and began a decade-long fight to protect recipients from countless right-wing attacks.
But the reality is, DACA has never gone far enough to protect immigrant communities. So 10 years later our message is this:
DACA IS NOT ENOUGH! Our home is here, and we need citizenship now.
Yesterday, immigrant youth and allies marched and rallied in D.C. and across the country for a Day of Action marking ten years of DACA — and demanding President Biden and Congress deliver permanent protections now.
Our undocumented communities deserve justice, which is why we’re using DACA’s 10th anniversary to raise awareness for our demands for a pathway to citizenship.
As I’m writing this, we’re more than 75% (!) of the way toward the goal we set for DACA’s anniversary: Will you help us close the gap so we can continue putting pressure on President Biden to deliver permanent solutions ten years after DACA?

United We Dream Action members took part in actions in over a dozen cities across the country yesterday — ranging from sit-ins and legal clinics, to community vigils, flyering, rallies, and so much more.
We even made it to Washington, DC, where we told President Biden and the elected officials who’ve led us to this point that 10 years of temporary solutions is enough, and it’s time for permanent protections for all.
For a decade, DACA has been a government band-aid for delivering lasting protection for immigrants as millions continue to face the threat of detention and deportation. Our elected officials have failed to permanently protect immigrant people, and Republicans have become more emboldened in their attacks on DACA recipients.
We’re fighting to change that, and we’re counting on your help to do it. Hundreds of you have already joined our fight for permanent protections by making donations to help us reach our DACA anniversary fundraising goal.
Now, we could really use your support to help us cross the finish line. Make a donation to United We Dream Action so we can follow up 10 years of DACA with permanent protections for our communities.
