 Dear John, First, I want to personally thank you for everything you've done to support me throughout my time in public office, from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors through the State Assembly, the Board of Equalization and now as California's 34th Treasurer. We currently have more than 57% of the vote, and we head to the November Election!
Our policy-focused message of affordable housing, economic development, infrastructure investment, fossil fuel divestment, reliable savings accounts, strong retirements for working families, and equal rights for all resonated with Californians. Our campaign is leading in communities from urban centers like San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose and Los Angeles to communities like the Sierra foothills, Central Valley and Inland Empire. We're running a 58-county campaign to energize like-minded candidates all across our state, even in places where the Democratic Party doesn't normally compete. I also endorsed qualified, sensible Democrats across California in races from Controller to State Legislature to local offices. I'm pleased to report that more than 75% of those endorsed candidates are also headed to the November election with us. I'm going to make sure we do absolutely everything we can to see that they win. So, I have one simple ask of you today: will you help us bring this home in November? Whether it's through a contribution, volunteering to phone bank or knock on doors, putting up a sign, or simply letting your friends know about our efforts, we need your help.
