Workforce Innovation Conference Call for Presentations
The Workforce Innovation Conference, Building Partnerships to Address the Future of Work,? will be October 3-4, 2022 at the double Tree by Hilton in Lawrence, 200 McDonald Drive.? This annual conference is for those who engage in workforce solutions.? The conference is hosted by the Kansas? Department of commerce and the Kansas Board of Regents.? You are invited to submit presentation proposals for the 2022 Workforce Innovation Conference. Proposals should include presentations on relevant topics for a variety of attendees, including elected officials, government employees, business and industry, university/college/technical education providers, economic development professionals, workforce development professionals and partners and stakeholders in the workforce field. By expanding the use of remote work and providing accommodations for employees with disabilities through its Access Center, the U.S. State Department is working to create a more inclusive, accessible workplace culture.
The Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) is a resource for employers seeking to recruit, hire, retain, and advance qualified employees with disabilities. It is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy under a cooperative agreement with the K. Lisa Yang and Hock E. Tan Institute on Disability and Employment.
