Dear John,

I can't believe I have to say this, but the Biden Administration has sunk to a new low. They're withholding funding for school lunches ([link removed]) from those who need it most; that is, unless a school signs on to the Democrats' gender ideology. You heard that right...unless your kids' school allows trans women to access your daughters' restroom, and posts gender inclusive signage, and indoctrinates your children through accommodating to the Democrats gender craziness, the poorest children will no longer get their free school lunches.

It's actually worse than that. The entire Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP - food stamps) is bound by the Biden admin's interpretation of Title IX (now to "include discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity"). This means that any place that accepts food stamps but doesn't have gender neutral bathrooms could, in theory, be subject to investigation if someone brings "allegations of discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation."

So let me unpack this for you: your kids' public schools are, in effect, required to allow a confused boy to enter your daughter's bathroom. Or put another way: the Democrats want to force-feed your kids with their gender and sexual orientation ideologies. They're leaving you with no escape. It's worse than this, though, because they are targeting the poor and middle-classes. If they truly cared about the poor and middle-class, why would they do this?

Well, it's because they don't care about you. They don't want the votes of poor white people...they think of you as deplorable. They assume black people will vote for them, and exploit race ideologies to offset the fact that they literally couldn't care less about black people's livelihoods. This is their down-payment to develop a generation of uncritical, radical sheep that will blindly vote for them based on a personal identity that the Democrats have exploited.

This is what we're up against. And this is why they're after your kids.

How do we stop it?
When elected, I will fight to change the Federal government, and strip away their manipulative control over our lives. I will fight for parents' choice in education. If you want your daughter sharing the bathroom with males, you can choose to send your kids to the schools with those policies. Everyone else will have the option to send their kids to schools that are focused on educating children in the time-honored subjects of math, science, and reading. America was built on the free market, and the free market will not judge schools that encourage gender confusion well. Parents, not the federal government should have the final say in their kids' education. This is how we stop these fringe policies and theories from being promoted in the classroom.
This weekend, I will attend the Juneteenth Celebration in Durham on June 18 and 19. I look forward to celebrating a very Republican holiday celebrating the work of the Republican party to emancipate enslaved African Americans in 1862. As Republican Abraham Lincoln declared on January 1, 1863:

"And by virtue of the power, and for the purpose aforesaid, I do order and declare that all persons held as slaves within said designated States, and parts of States, are, and henceforward shall be free; and that the Executive government of the United States, including the military and naval authorities thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of said persons."

Please join me there this weekend to celebrate this wonderful proclamation that freed so many of our brothers, sisters, and neighbors from the bonds of slavery.
