The bill uses the term "perinatal," which literally means up to FOUR WEEKS after a baby is born.
It passed the full Assembly vote in California. Now, just yesterday, it PASSED out of the California State Senate Judiciary Committee. The committee also passed a bill which would put a right to abortion in the California State Constitution.
The radical Left is using the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade to unleash an unprecedented assault on life, through federal and state efforts to make Roe permanent. There's even been an attempted assassination of a Supreme Court Justice.
They know what they are doing. They're just hoping you won't notice.
They're wrong. We noticed, and we're aggressively fighting back. We sent a critical legal letter to the California Appropriations Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee opposing this ghoulish bill.
Now this sick bill must pass through several other state committees, and we will be there, defending babies. We're their last line of defense. But time is running out.
