Since launching this campaign, I've had conversations with so many people across our community -- hearing from them about the issues that are at the front of their minds every day. These conversations have run the gamut from entertaining to truly heartbreaking.
But one thing they always are is enlightening.
Friend, that's why my team and I put together a list of issues that I've come across when speaking to the people who make up the heart and soul of Wisconsin's 1st.
As a mother, community leader, and small business owner, I know what it means to raise a family here and fight to get my children the opportunities that were necessary for them to succeed.
As a fixer, I understand that one must often be willing to look and take in different perspectives to address underlying issues. To fix and address future problems, one cannot simply look upon the tip of the iceberg but instead take a deep dive and address the root causes
As a former educator, I know that to teach and guide students, one also must be open and willing to learn and listen.
And as someone running to be a voice for this district in Congress, I need to continue listening to the people across Wisconsin's 1st and beyond.
