Hey, John.
One of the most important lessons my parents passed onto me was this:
Always finish what you started.
And Washington has a lot of work to finish on behalf of working families everywhere. Here’s just the beginning of the list of priorities I’ll take with me to Congress:
Lower prescription drug and other critical medical costs: To use one far too common example, none of the 34 million Americans with diabetes should ever have to decide between buying life-saving insulin or putting food on the table for their kids.
Protect and expand voting access: I’m proud to have passed multilingual ballot access in the Colorado legislature, and I am deeply committed to defending the integrity of our elections and making our voting system easy and accessible to all.
Expand quality healthcare access: We must make reforms to our healthcare system so that everyone can access the care they need without fear of crushing medical debt.
Combat climate change: Every day that we fail to act is another day that our health, our children’s health, and the health of our planet takes another step towards irreversible catastrophe. We have to act now.
Protect every person’s right to choose: Roe v. Wade should have been codified into law years ago. We must do so immediately before it’s too late.
Working families in Colorado’s 8th District are counting on us to deliver for them, and I intend to the finish the job — but I need your help.
Will you chip in whatever you’re able to help us finish what we started and send a voice for Coloradans to Washington in November?
