Dear John,

“ For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

Tanzania, home to the beautiful Serengeti National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro, yet still considered to be one of the poorest countries in the world.

Our African Enterprise office in Dar es Salaam is very small, and through a lot of prayers, the office was blessed this month with a permanent team leader, Rev Emmanuel Mbaaga.

The team is currently preparing for the Dar es Salaam mission that will start on the 14th of August 2022. This includes preparations for various seminars for women, men, youth and Evangelists. A series of meetings with church leaders have already taken place, in order to mobilise the church into partnership with African Enterprise for the mission.

The staff has been spending a lot of time in prayer going in to this mission. Every Friday they are fasting and have prayer sessions that aims at constantly going to God and telling Him that the work we do isn’t ours, but His alone and that we therefore need His guidance. They have also been conducting monthly prayers with prayer warriors in the two municipalities where the missions will take place, Ukonga and Ubungo.

On another front The AE office in Tanzania is supporting the Msisiri B Primary School. During the Covid-19 pandemic the AE Tanzania office supplied the school with items to assist them and in the beginning of this year they had the opportunity to visit the school again to see how everyone was doing. This strengthened the bond that was established and the school requested AE Tanzania to become a sponsor and assist them to accomplish their desire of assuring the children study in a good environment with every blessing that the Lord will release.

Let us pray:

*
in giving thanks for the appointment of Team leader Emmanual Mbaaga. May the team faithfully continue to pursue God's plan for them.
*
that God open the eyes of the church leaders so that they can see the importance of this ministry and be on board fully with the team going into mission.
*
that God will give enough resources for the August mission in Dar es Sallam in terms of finances, good equipment and human resources.
*
for the spirit of unity and love to every evangelist that will be from or outside the borders of Tanzania.
*
that God’s power should be revealed throughout the mission.
*
for each and every one who is going to minister at the mission and for transformation to those who will get to hear the Word of God.
*
that the mission as part of the 60th celebrations of African Enterprise will go smoothly.
*
that the Spirit of God will be with each and every teacher and child at the Msisiri B Primary School.

Yours in Christ,

Jorge Rodrigues
Interim CEO
