This week, South Central Montana experienced devastating floods and the rivers are still high. At yesterday’s public briefing for the residents of Red Lodge, Penny learned that four bridges were lost within two hours in Red Lodge alone. Through videos and news reports, we’ve all seen the devastation from Yellowstone National Park to Red Lodge, East Rosebud to Fromberg, Roscoe to Billings, and more.


We have also seen the power of community.


People helping people and caring for one another.


If you would like to help communities and people impacted by what is being called the 500-year flood, you can do so by donating to the local animal shelters, non-profit organizations, and municipal governments of the impacted communities.


You can also donate to the following organizations that are helping families in all of the flooded areas:

Billings Family Service
