It's been over TWO WEEKS since we won the party's nomination! Now, It's up to us to ensure our plans to help working and middle-class families, students, seniors, and veterans become a reality this November.
The current partisan gridlock in Washington, D.C. is standing in our way. Of the 100 US Senators, only 50 are Democrats, creating a 50/50 split in the Senate -- but we need ten seats to expand our majority! To give you an idea of what we're up against, the House of Representatives has passed and introduced over 503 bills (and counting) since the start of the current session of Congress, and only 85 have been taken up by the Senate!
We're fighting for environmental justice, thriving and sustainable wages, and an equitable health care system but to get all this done we need to elect more Democrats to help turn our bills into laws and our positive vision into a reality!
