Hi Friend
I just stepped off the debate stage where I made the case for why I should continue to serve as Lieutenant Governor. My approach to public service is first, and foremost, to listen, bring people together, and put in the work on behalf of all New Yorkers.
That's exactly what I tried to do tonight. That’s how I worked as the first person of color to represent upstate New York in Congress and that’s how I plan to get things done as your Lieutenant Governor.
Too many New Yorkers feel detached – from each other, from their communities, and from their government. The way we begin to heal is to reconnect and that’s why it’s my mission to bring people together by leading with love, respect, and humility.
