Dear John,
BIG NEWS! My bill, the Ocean Shipping Reform Act (OSRA), just passed the House for the final time. OSRA has now passed the House four times. My bill addresses the supply chain crunch and has overwhelming support from ag producers, manufacturers, and retailers.
Next stop: the President’s desk to be signed into law.
I am confident this will happen soon, getting some relief to ag producers, consumers, and exporters who have dealt with shipping delays and inflated prices. The supply chain crisis has gone on far too long and I am happy OSRA will soon become law to benefit American producers, consumers, and businesses.
