John, let me tell you what Doug Mastriano wants to do if he’s elected as Pennsylvania’s next Governor.
Mastriano wants to:
Outlaw abortion in Pennsylvania and throw doctors who perform them in jail.
Decertify voting machines with a “stroke of a pen.”
Force every single one of the almost nine million PA voters to unnecessarily re-register to vote.
These fringe, extreme, dangerous ideas are held by the leader of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania — we can’t dismiss Mastriano anymore.
Mastriano is unfit to serve as our next Governor — he will not protect our rights or our voices if he wins this election. Please John, will you rush $5 to help this team defeat Mastriano at the ballot box? [[link removed]]
Mastriano doesn’t care about helping Pennsylvanians or making our home a safer, more prosperous place for us all. His goal is to elevate dangerous schemes and absurd lies ahead of the needs of Pennsylvanians and our very democracy.
He supports Trump’s election lies: he tried to overturn the 2020 election and instigated the GOP’s sham “audit” that’s now trying to obtain the Social Security and driver's license numbers of 9 million Pennsylvanians.
Mastriano has also repeatedly promoted the bogus QAnon conspiracy theory that believes a “group of Satan-worshiping elites” run a sex ring and try to control our politics and media.
Worst of all, he attended the January 6th insurrection — even walking past police barricades at the U.S. Capitol with rioters. He spent his own campaign money to bus down Trump supporters, too.
His extremism cannot win here in Pennsylvania. It’s up to this team — right here, right now — to support Josh Shapiro’s campaign and make sure that Mastriano never has the power to take away our rights and liberties.
