Thanks to your support, our campaign pulled off a resounding victory in yesterday’s primary election! I’m so grateful for you, my grassroots supporters, and to the voters across this district who have placed their trust in me.

This is a moment to be proud of but it only signifies the beginning of what will be our toughest months to come. And mark my words, the Republican Party won’t make this easy on us.

When I decided that I would run for re-election, I knew that I wanted to run a campaign that was focused on the issues that mattered most to my constituents. I’m proud to say that we’ve done that so far and I don’t intend to stop.

My Republican opponent, April Becker, is going to do everything she can to drive a wedge between this district. She’ll try to pit Nevadan against Nevadan and that’s downright wrong.

The truth is, April can’t even be trusted to show faith in our democracy. When she lost her State Senate race in 2020, she tried to overturn the results in court. It’s reprehensible but that’s exactly the type of anti-democratic energy that Republican leaders want in my opponent.

I say this with all certainty: This is going to be our toughest race so far.

My opponent is riling up her radical base, the GOP is preparing to spend millions against me, and election forecasters are calling this race a dead heat.

I’m going to fight with every bone in my body to make sure this seat stays blue. But, your support is the only way we’ll have the resources to come out on top.
