DACA helped me to build a life in the only home I have ever known, but now my future and that of nearly one million other Americans is at risk.

Friend,

Today marks the 10th anniversary of DACA — the landmark policy that protects nearly one million young Americans from deportation. I am proud of everything my siblings and I have accomplished in the past ten years thanks to DACA, including graduating from college, growing our careers, and supporting our family and community.

While I am grateful that this policy has afforded us the opportunity to build our lives in the only home we have ever known, today’s anniversary also serves as a reminder that millions of people across America live with the same fear we do — that our families could be ripped apart at any moment.

You see, the future of DACA hangs in the balance in the courts. So the best way to celebrate this anniversary is for Congress to pass a permanent legislative solution prior to DACA making its way to the Supreme Court.

If this policy is terminated, it’s very possible that my siblings and I could be deported back to a country we haven’t been to in 20 years.

We’ve launched a brand new, comprehensive report that analyzes the incredible progress we’ve made under DACA — from education, to the workforce, and more. Click here to read the report and see the impact DACA has had over the past decade on families like mine.

My story isn’t unique. DACA has transformed hundreds of thousands of lives over the last 10 years. It’s a wildly successful policy that has empowered people to make extraordinary contributions to our country and economy.

This is exactly why we must raise our voices and fight to protect it moving forward. I won’t lie, FNAME. While I am more concerned than ever before that DACA could be terminated, I want to keep doing everything I can to protect it. But I need your help.

Please read our special report on the 10th anniversary of DACA — and then share it with your network right now: [link removed]

Thank you,
Diego
