Hello,

My team and I talk a lot about the number 1,017.

1,017 is the number of votes we won by in 2016. We talk about the number a lot because it’s a good reminder of just how close our race this year will be.

For me, it’s also a reminder of the Granite Staters I fight for every day in the Senate. Those 1,017 voters – and the rest of the 1.3 million people in the state – are all folks who deserve a fair shot at getting ahead and staying ahead. They deserve reproductive rights, clean air and water, good paying jobs, and so much more.

If we hadn’t turned out those 1,017 voters, Democrats would not hold the Senate majority today.

With so much on the line, 1,017 votes is too close for comfort.

My staff tells me we still have $10,000 to raise to hit our mid-month goal. I fear that if we fall short, the margins will break the other way and we’ll lose this seat. Please, will you rush $3 or any amount that feels right to you right now to help us hold this seat?

1,017 votes. Let’s do this.

With every good wish,
Maggie Hassan
