Trudy Busch Valentine (@buschvalentine) - Nurses have a word for this: an epidemic.

As a nurse in Missouri, Trudy has seen the horrific damage that gun violence can inflict – not only on our bodies but on our communities. As a mother, a grandmother, and an American, she knows that we cannot let this epidemic go unchecked.

Extremists bought and paid for by the NRA are trying to divide us on this issue, but there are meaningful legislative solutions that we agree on: red flag laws, background checks, limiting access to assault weapons. As senator, Trudy will put politics aside and put in the work it takes to do the right thing.

Gun violence is one of so many issues on voters' minds this election year – and to win real progress we have to send leaders like Trudy to Washington.
