State Senator Jacqueline Collins has been a champion of economic and social justice for  Illinois’ 16th Senate district for the last twenty years. Now, she’s ready to be a champion for Illinois’ 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House. 
 
State Senator Collins has fought to close the wealth gap between Black, brown, and white communities by addressing predatory lending and high foreclosure rates through legislation that protects homeowners and homebuyers. She has also advocated for legislation that would teach financial literacy in schools, and fought to strengthen renters’ rights. She is a true advocate for her community, and she’s ready to bring her pursuit for justice to Congress.
