Americans are feeling the strain as they struggle to fill their cars and heat their homes. All the while, fossil fuel corporations are generating record profits while contributing to an ever-worsening climate crisis.
It’s time to change direction. Rather than rely on limited oil reserves from petrostates like Russia, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia, we should invest in renewable resources. Instead of subsidizing fossil fuel companies that pollute our environment, we should pass a bold climate protection package like the Green New Deal that is good for the environment and good for the economy.
