Why today?

Our team has sent a number of emails since we launched our campaign against Sean Patrick Maloney at the end of last month. There’s no doubt about that.

Each and every one of them has been important to our success in this fight — but why is today different?

Let us explain: When we faced our last official FEC fundraising deadline in March, we were in a completely different race.

Since then, the district maps have been redrawn, and we now have just 68 days to build a winning campaign against one of the most well-funded corporate Democrats in Congress.

And right now, we’re just hours away from the end of our mid-month fundraising drive.

When the FEC deadline hits at the end of June, we’re legally required to publicly report our fundraising numbers — and we can’t afford to fall short. Because everyone will be watching.

So we’re sincerely asking, especially today:
