Last Tuesday, the residents of AD-80 voted in a special election and a regularly-scheduled primary election. With most of the vote counted, we are behind in the special election but we emerged from the regularly-scheduled primary as the top vote-getter!

While it is clear that our vision earned the support of a strong majority of Democratic voters. We have a lot of work to do to win in November.

This election has never been about me – it is about the urgent needs and hopes our community has for a better tomorrow. It is about the issues we are all passionate about – climate action, economic justice, corporate accountability and creating a state government that works in the public’s interest.

I have to share my deep gratitude for all of those who electrify this grassroots campaign. Thank you to all of those who continue to stand with us, believe in us and pour their hearts and souls into this campaign. Your efforts inspire me to continue this fight.

Our work to make a better San Diego and a more just California continues into November and we will need your support for the tough fight ahead.

I appreciate the trust you have placed in me.

¡Sí Se Puede!

Georgette is running for AD-80, but corporate PACs and special interests are pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into attacking her. That's why the support of grassroots donors like you can make all the difference in this race.

Can you give now?
