I helped found the New North Carolina Project because there is a disconnect in NC between our leaders and the needs of our communities of color. It’s simple. By meeting voters where they’re at and creating meaningful connections, we can create #LifelongVoters to change the system.

We saw extremely high turnout in the primaries, but our work isn’t done. With the voter registration deadline for July’s local elections quickly approaching in less than 3 weeks, we must capitalize on this moment.
