As we approach our mid-month deadline - and the end of the most important fundraising quarter of this election season - you're about to get bombarded with fundraising appeals.

Trust me, I don't like it either. But let me tell you why ours are different - and so important.

As the only member of Congress who accepts NO money from PACs, federal lobbyists, or other members of Congress or their campaign committees, I rely 100% on individuals like you to fund our people-powered campaign. That means that no matter the amount, your contribution is absolutely critical to our ability to get our message out.

Will you chip-in $15 before our mid-month deadline to make sure this people-powered campaign has the resources it needs to get to the finish line?

I also want to share why this mid-month deadline is so important. With the field set, our opponent will be working double-time to raise money - and he doesn't care where it comes from. Those fundraising totals will be made public at the end of this month, and pundits here and around the country will be assessing the results to determine who has the momentum - and who is in trouble. That could change the dynamics of our race.

I don't like asking for money, and I know you don't like getting bombarded with appeals. But our campaign is different, because we can't ask wealthy special interests to help fill the gaps.
