We're reaching out to invite you to our upcoming 35th anniversary celebration and the official Washington, D.C. book launch of The Future We Need: Organizing for a Better Democracy in the Twenty-First Century, on July 11th from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Meeting House of the Friends Meeting of Washington!

We are also thrilled to announce that DC Jobs With Justice is joining us to co-sponsor for this very special event celebrating Jobs With Justice's 35th anniversary. The evening will be filled with guest speakers, movement leaders, and an opportunity to reconnect with Jobs With Justice alumni and friends. 

Across the country, we are seeing working people come together, demanding fair wages, dignity and respect at work, and the right to form a union. And we are winning!! All of this is a testament to the 35 years that we – Jobs With Justice staff, alumni, and partners – have put into this work, and we should feel proud of everything we've done to transform the lives of working people everywhere.

That's why we are so thrilled to finally gather on July 11th to celebrate the past, present, and future of Jobs With Justice, and the D.C.-launch of The Future We Need: Organizing for a Better Democracy in the Twenty-First Century, the brand-new book I co-authored with Sarita Gupta.
