Ruth’s List Florida is excited to announce our latest endorsement, Raquel Pacheco for Senate District 36. This will be one of the most watched races this cycle.

A true battleground district, it resembles what had been SD 37, currently represented by Republican Ileana Garcia. Garcia won her 2020 race by just 32 votes in a fraudulent election when the Republican Party funded a third-party candidate to deliberately siphon support from the Democratic incumbent.

Raquel is a Ruth’s List alumna, a veteran of the Army National Guard and was the first Female Soldier of the Year. She served as President of Miami Beach United, the Chair of the Personnel Board for the City of Miami Beach, and is the owner and manager of RDP Agency LLC.

We’re thrilled to have led the recruitment of Raquel in this seat and to give our early support to her campaign. We must win back SD 36 and oust extremist anti-choice Senator Ileana Garcia.
