Over the past 25 years, Equality Federation has been on the frontlines of the movement for LGBTQ+ advocacy and equality. We have been a part of soaring victories and endured challenging setbacks, including long fights toward progress when it comes to nondiscrimination protections, relationship recognition, transgender rights, HIV decriminalization, and more.
We’re honored to be in this fight alongside our partners – and you – and now we’re asking you to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary. We’ve set a goal to raise $25,000 in the next two weeks, ahead of June 30’s Give OUT Day, the only annual day of giving to LGBTQ+ causes and organizations.
I know that 2022 has been a uniquely challenging year: State-level anti-LGBTQ+ legislation has surged more cruelly than ever, underlining a critical need for the capacity-building and movement-coordination that Equality Federation brings to amazing state-based LGBTQ+ organizations.
