The Supreme Court is getting ready to reverse over half a century of constitutional rights.

It is a shame that in this day and age there are still people who want to erode women’s reproductive rights. The decision upheld in Roe vs Wade has been settled for over 50 years, we should not have to spend our time fighting a fight that has already been won.

This is a fight that we didn’t ask for, but it’s one that I am prepared to take to Congress. It is time that we codify Roe and act to secure women's rights permanently. A woman's right to choose is between her and her doctor.

Max Miller and his fellow Republicans disagree. They are trying to regulate a women’s body autonomy and strip away rights that are not theirs to strip away. 

I’m going to Congress to protect all Americans from having their rights stripped by the government. 

That is why I fully support codifying Roe vs Wade at the federal level and will work in congress to enact legislation protecting a woman’s right to choose in the likely event Roe is overturned in the upcoming weeks.
