Friend - Will you reflect on these last 10 years with me?💭
My name is Karina and I’ve made 🏜️Phoenix, Arizona my home. I’ve been protected from deportation by DACA for the last 10 years, so today is a big milestone for me. June 15, 2012 was the day that DACA was won by the organizing power of immigrant youth of color. It’s proof that when we organize, we win BIG for our communities!🏆
🤩Today, I’m feeling energized by the new generation who have joined our fight for permanent protections for ALL! Our immigrant communities need & deserve more than band-aid solutions that leave millions without permanent protections.
In this video, I share 10 things I’ve learned these past 10 years with DACA, can you watch & share?

Ten years of DACA marks a decade of attacks and a decade of inaction to protect our lives. Our communities are tired. But we are also more motivated than ever to fight for the future we know we all need - a future where we can all live in safety and dignity. Let’s make that future a reality.
