HOPE not hate
Who gives you HOPE?

Today is Giving Tuesday – the biggest day of the year for charitable organisations. We won't be the only charity that has sent you an email about this today. Many charities use this opportunity to ask for crucial support to carry out the important work they do.

This Giving Tuesday we wanted to do things a bit differently.

The last few months have been gruelling. Hate is on the rise across the world, and it feels like the general election has only exacerbated it. We wanted to use this opportunity to shine a light on those people who are helping to counter hate in these dark times, while also raising the funds we need to continue our vital work.

This Giving Tuesday we are asking you to do the following:

  1. Click on one of the links below to open our “Thank you for giving us hope” social media graphic
  2. Pick three people who give you HOPE and tag them in your post
  3. The thank you graphic includes a link to our donation page - if you donated in their honour, let them know!
  4. Ask them to do the same with three people who give them HOPE!

Here's the tweet that Nick Lowles just posted:

I don't know about you, but public life in the last few months has been tough to watch. Yet despite it all, there are so many people who give me hope - it's nice to say thank you.

Best wishes,
Jemma
