Testimony from Trump’s inner circle — ranging from former Attorney General Bill Barr, to Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner — have revealed just how detached from reality the former president was after the 2020 election.

They KNEW the election was lost and that President Joe Biden was the rightful winner. And yet, Trump and the cult continued to spout baseless claims of voter fraud and elevate the Big Lie — a lie that resulted in the storming of the Capitol on January 6.

Many of my Republican colleagues in the House have themselves benefited from bending the knee to Trump and parroting the Big Lie — and even more far-right candidates are running for office on the same platform of dangerous conspiracy theories.
