Dear John,

I have heard from many in our community about how higher gas and food prices are impacting our day-to-day life and household budget. Inflation is a serious issue, and it requires serious solutions. Reducing these costs remains one of my top priorities, which is why I want to tell you about the Inflation Action Plan I just released with my colleagues in the New Democrat Coalition. 

Our detailed plan to fight inflation has been featured in Forbes, The Washington Post, CNBC, and Fox News. In fact, Forbes called it the 'best inflation-fighting blueprint to come out of Congress yet.' 

I helped found the Inflation Working Group (the first of its kind in either party) in February, and since then we have met with economists and policy experts to develop our action plan. This plan outlines tangible steps that President Biden and Congress can take to make a real difference for Pennsylvanians.  

For starters, we are urging the White House to roll back costly tariffs and pressing our Democratic and Republican colleagues to finalize bipartisan legislation to revitalize American manufacturing. We also have a plan to reduce the labor shortage, promote innovation, and strengthen global supply chains. 

I believe in this plan, and I have already written to the President and Congressional Leadership urging them to enact our recommendations.
