Message from the President



June is a special month. This month, we recognize observances that acknowledge the contributions, achievements, obstacles, and experiences of people from various backgrounds. Pride Month is a time that we celebrate the LGBTQ community and reaffirm our commitment to advocating on behalf of LGBTQ rights. Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates Black culture.?Also, reminding us to support Black businesses and issues.



Take this month to learn something new, honor, and lift up others who do not have the same access and privileges you are afforded. Together, we make the most significant impact and work towards a more understanding and compassionate world.

June Young Dem of the Month







Danielle M. Jones serves as the NJYD College Caucus Chair. Professionally, she is the Confidential Associate for the Office of Governmental Affairs & Community Relations at Brookdale Community College. Danielle earned her B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from Cabrini University in 2013. She also earned her A.A. in Social Sciences from Brookdale Community College in 2009.?







On January 1, 2021, Danielle was sworn in to serve a three-year term on the Eatontown Borough Council. She is actively involved in implementing social equity, voter education, and political advocacy initiatives for Brookdale Community College, the Borough of Eatontown, and various organizations across the state. With her diverse work experience and academic training, Danielle strives to utilize the knowledge, skills, and resources gained from her experiences to be successful in both her personal and professional life.?

NJYD New Executive Board Member Alert!







We are thrilled to announce our newest board member: National Committeewoman Samantha Minchello!



Samantha is the President and CEO of Maidenstone Strategies, LLC - a political and governmental consulting firm. Additionally, she is the Monmouth County Democrats Executive Director, YDA Mid-Atlantic Region Deputy Director, and President of the Monmouth County Young Democrats, among many other roles. We are excited to have a passionate, vibrant leader join our board.
