The council can only accept objections that have been sent via their online form

Dear John,

Thank you for taking the time to carry out the online action regarding plans for a new zoo in Cheshire East. Over 600 people have sent an email to the council to object to these plans!

Unfortunately, the council have now said that they can only accept objections via their online form.

We do not need new zoos (or any zoos) in the 21st Century!

Please note that the council are collecting names and addresses of those who object. This is so they can contact you if the case goes to an appeal. This information will also be on their website. Don’t worry if you can't send your objection today, we have kept a record of the number of emails sent to the council which is still very useful as it shows a clear message that new zoos are NOT wanted!

The deadline for objections is today 15^th June, so if you want to object please do so before the end of the day to make it count.

Sadly, animal welfare is not a consideration in the planning process. Whilst you can add your feelings about the suffering animals will endure in a new zoo, there are other points you can make regarding the proposal that are more likely to be heard.

That is why I have made some points via the link below, that you can send or take and add some points of your own.
