Last week I spoke with KTAR and made it clear that my office will have zero tolerance for Election Day disruptions here in Maricopa County. 

As your constitutional Sheriff, I will not tolerate interference in people’s ability to cast their vote or attempts to disrupt democracy by intimidation or harassment.  

Currently, I am coordinating with the County Recorder’s Office and the Board of Supervisors to ensure we have the resources and plan in place to prevent interference in the democratic process. 

In 2020 and its aftermath, I stood unwavering in the truth, refusing to relent to election extremists and conspiracy theorists. 2022 will be no different. 

Make no mistake about it, Arizonans who want to vote, will get the chance. We will protect democracy and the democratic process in Maricopa County for all who seek to participate.
