Hey John! Ashley here, Lauren’s Deputy Campaign Manager. We have a lot going on here at Underwood HQ this month — let me bring you up to speed:

In just two weeks, Illinois voters will head to the polls to cast their vote in our primary election. After the votes are tallied, we’ll know which one of the five right-wing candidates vying for Lauren’s seat will appear on the ballot this November.

And just two days after the primary, our team will close the books on our second quarterly Federal Election Commission deadline of 2022. Shortly after, we’ll have to send a report to the FEC detailing how much we’ve raised and how many folks have pitched in over the last three months. Then, that report will be made public for all to see.

While we’re juggling all of this on the campaign side, Lauren is fighting critical battles in Washington — working to lower costs for working families and get gun-safety legislation across the finish line.

As you can tell, this month is shaping up to be quite a doozy. With so much going on, meeting our fundraising targets is more important than ever, which is why I’m reaching out to ask for your support:
