Over the weekend, hateful right-wing extremist groups attacked two separate Pride events, including one in my home district:

I’m furious. These kinds of attacks on the LGBTQ+ community are absolutely abhorrent, and I am fiercely committed to doing everything I can to fend them off. Because if we don’t fight back against this hate, it will only get worse.

Can you chip in to help elect more Democrats who will fight to protect the LGBTQ+ community?

Let’s also make this clear: there is a reason why these right-wing extremist groups align themselves with Trump and the GOP. Not only does the Republican Party’s official platform still reject the right of same-sex couples to marry, but they have spent years making their party into fertile ground for dangerous hate against the LGBTQ+ community. As a result, these extremists and their violent rhetoric have only gotten more potent and prominent.

LGBTQ+ people should not have to fight to simply exist in peace. But their safety and freedom will only be more and more at risk with today’s Republican Party in charge. So we must stop them.

Contribute today to fight back against homophobic and transphobic Republicans and kick them out of power.
