D.C. Politicians just can’t stop spending. And they are hoping you won’t notice.

Last week, they quietly snuck in a 9% increase over current spending for fiscal year 2023 in an unrelated bill. That amounts to an additional $100 billion in spending per year.

Kim Schrier and her far-left colleagues snuck in the spending increase despite the most damaging inflation we’ve seen in 40 years.

It’s not that far-left politicians do not know the cause of inflation. In a recent interview with 60 minutes, Fed Chair Jerome Powell admitted the government “flooded the system with [newly printed] money” via the left’s unprecedented spending bills. U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen made similar admissions.

If we want to stop inflation, we cannot continue irresponsible spending. This is a simple fact that far-left politicians like Kim Schrier refuse to accept. We need leaders willing to face reality.
