John,
We just received some poll results and they are definitive: NINETY PERCENT of Latinos support requiring background checks on all gun purchases, with 80% strongly supporting this reform.
After the massacres in Uvalade and Buffalo, these numbers aren't surprising. But they’re in stark contrast with the priorities of congressional Republicans, who are at this moment trying to win over Latinx voters.
Here's the deal: We must register more young Latinos to vote and mobilize them to go to the ballot box to support Democrats this election. That's the only way we can make progress as a nation. But to get it done, we need resources.
Will you chip in whatever you can to help us register and mobilize hundreds of thousands of young Latinos in 2022?

The Latino vote made all the difference for Democrats' White House and Senate wins in the 2020 election, and Voto Latino registered more Latinos to vote than President Biden's margin of victory in key states like Arizona and Georgia. That's how powerful our work can be when we're well-resourced. But there are disturbing reports that some Democratic supporters may be sitting out this election!
We know you're not one of them, John – you understand how important it is to defeat the GOP and their deadly agenda this fall. Before it's too late, will you pitch in to help us keep registering voters by the thousand – so we can actually make change as a nation?
