This movement has achieved so much together during the 2021-2022 redistricting cycle:

A.G. Holder: “Americans across the country raised their voices on behalf of their communities and participated in the redistricting process, which led to the undoing of the egregious gerrymanders our nation saw in the previous decade.

And we effectively stymied the Republican attempts to gerrymander their way to a ‘durable’ House majority because of the fair maps in states like North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Michigan, and elsewhere.”

But the work is far from finished:

Pres. Obama: “The fight for fair maps is not over.”

That’s because litigation is ongoing, politicians who gerrymander must be held accountable, and the 2022 elections will be critically important for redistricting.
