Politicians are looking to secure votes – but they’ll have to earn them.

NNU - Medicare for All!

With the midterm elections quickly approaching, many elected officials and candidates are in full campaign mode.

That means that these next few months are a crucial time to put the pressure on and secure commitments on health care justice from politicians who are looking to secure votes and prove themselves as the best candidates to represent the people (not corporate interests).

That’s why this summer we’re re-launching the Patients Over Profits campaign with the goal of securing as many pledges as possible from state and local officials to reject all donations from the corporate health care industry.

To learn about this plan and our other national plans to advance the fight for Medicare for All this summer – sign up to join our next strategy call on Tuesday, June 28, at 5:00pm PT/8:00pm ET.

During the call, we’ll go over everything you need to know about how to get plugged into our Patients Over Profits campaign in your area, no matter where you live. Together, if we can get hundreds of pledge signers this summer from state level elected officials and city council members across the country, we will have the leverage and power to pressure elected officials at any level from the senate to the presidency.

Political spending and influence from the corporate health care industry is one of our biggest obstacles in the path to winning Medicare for All in the U.S. We must directly confront their influence in order to win – but it’s going to take all of us.

Not only will we launch our newest Patients Over Profits campaign work on the call, but we'll also update you on the latest ways to get involved in a number of other fights in our movement: from our district-level work in key areas to gain more cosponsors in Congress on Medicare for All, to our demand for CVS Health to stop bankrolling anti-Medicare for All efforts.

You won’t want to miss it. Please sign up to join our next national Medicare for All strategy call on June 28 to learn how you can plug into the fight.
