In the wake of the tragic shootings in Buffalo, Uvalde, and too many more places, House Republicans continue blocking common-sense gun violence prevention measures.
House Republicans voted against these common-sense measures:
Passing federal red flag laws to keep firearms out of the hands of potentially dangerous people.
Raising the minimum age to buy semi-automatic rifles.
Tightening loopholes on gun purchases, background checks, and more.
With a majority of Americans supporting stricter gun laws, passing common-sense gun violence prevention measures are long overdue. To do it, we must expand our Democratic majority and oust obstructionist Republicans who refuse to take action tragedy after tragedy.
