[1]Cheri Beasley for North Carolina

When we won the primary, Mitch McConnell’s PAC had just booked at least $33 million in TV ads to spend against us, and the NRSC was already on the air attacking me — the first challenger anywhere in the country.

I knew all of the data said this race would be one of the most competitive races in the entire country — setting it up to be one of the most expensive races as well. Taking on the well-funded special interests that try to buy elections for DC insiders like Ted Budd is a tall order.

But within MINUTES of our race being called, support poured in from everywhere.

Emily, a physician assistant in Raleigh, donated $20.22 to help us win in November. Then a retiree in Brevard named Peter made his $100 donation recurring to sustain our campaign, and Susan, an educator in Morehead City, pitched in her $5!

Just like that, we were off, and the people were with us saying they were ready to fight to flip this seat.

And that’s what it is going to take to flip this seat — thousands of people just like you stepping up to own a piece of this fight. So I need to ask for your support today:

Can you please make a donation to help us flip North Carolina? The donation itself is just as important as the amount because whether it’s $5, $25 or more, it all makes a difference.

We’re in a full sprint to Election Day — crisscrossing this state to build something different, a grassroots campaign unlike anything North Carolina has ever seen. And your support is making all of it possible.

So thank you. I’m so grateful that you are a part of this.
