We need to share this heartbreaking report our colleague in Yemen has dispatched from the heart of the ongoing conflict:
"Some of the young children we see shake with fear, uncontrollably, for hours on end. Others are so malnourished and traumatized they detach emotionally from the world."
Each day, we hear from field workers in Yemen, Syria, South Sudan and other regions gutted by violent conflict. While they all have different experiences, there are things we hear time and time again...
They say that the need for resources is overwhelming.
They say they wish they could do more.
They say they will never be able to forget the faces of children and the look of fear in their eyes.
