The Russian courts have wrongfully detained Brittney Griner – a black woman, a wife, and a U.S. WNBA basketball star. It is critical that Brittney is brought home to her family.
Just to update you, Brittney has been (wrongfully) accused of drug smuggling. She has been held in Russia since FEBRUARY 2022. “ [[link removed]] CNN Breaking News” has stated that her detention is extended until at least July 2nd. [[link removed]]

Now is the time to come together to show our support for Brittney and other Americans held in Russia who are experiencing the same unfair treatment. She could have been your friend, daughter, sister, or family member.
It’s a scary situation - we must stand together against injustice.
Today is not about raising money for our campaign, it's about raising awareness for Brittney Griner and others like her; Russia should be held accountable for its wrongful detainment of an American citizen.
We want her home NOW!
